a quick question on the seat rail mod for extra travel...does the seat stop mod cause any safety issues. I take it the seat is still unable to fall out of the back of the slide due to knurled ends on the rails (although if thats the case surely they would not be as strong as the solid stops? I ask this bcause I am about to install some HSE seats and I understand they might not give as much travel as the manuals. How much travel do you lose with electric seats and in turn claw back with this stopper mod?

    Cheers
Ps apart from how good they look I take it the HSE seats are more comfortable?

Thanks mate. I managed to get the manual seat all the way forward and saw the little stop...without that its just the seat catch holding it in place I think...I might leave the travel mod and see how it goes.

    Cheers

Thanks Tombie! Yep they really change the look and feel - its all very civilised. I like how adjustable the driving position is and the massively large and proud lumbar bladder. The passenger side only adjusts 2 ways and no lumber - HOWEVER i see the same motors underneath, so I think if I can get a switch (internally) to suit I may be in business for full adjustments that side also.

I love the wood wheel with leather on the side areas. It feels brilliant. I thought it might be too hard, but not so.

I used Leather Therapy on the seats and wheel to clean and then their conditioner - its magic stuff and the seats came very close to new - they are only 15,000k old from a vehicle from Hong Kong. The patina on the seat sides is nice and rich too with conditioning.

    Cheers!
