True, he's another option but I'm trying to tell you the trimmer in Granville is less than 1/2, nearly 2/3, of the price.

It might be OK for you rich D2 owners but for us poor guys struggling to maintain an old RR, we prefer to save money where we can .

Just dropped my D2 liner at AA Motor Trimmers at Granville - price is now $150
Beats the other quotes ($300 & $245) by miles and AA have had plenty of experience with Land Rovers.

    HEADLINER REPLACEMENT IN PERTH, WA

I recently obtained a quote to have my D2a headliningreplaced, by a motor trimmers with a big name in Perth.
Cost was close to double the highest other figure mentioned as farback as Post 40 in this thread! That was for them to remove entirely fromscratch and refit after renewing the liner.

Has anyone found a good outfit for this work in Perth, at amore reasonable price?

If so , could you pls PM me with contact details for them?

Compliments of another local member's recommendation here a couple of months ago. He had a part job done, but $700 for the full monty if my memory serves?

There is another recommended by RovAir that is in the same ballpark I can follow up if required (also south of river I think)

Hey Roger, do these people also do a R&R job or do you have to pull the liner out yourself?
    Cheers

As I had the liner out before I contacted them, I didn't ask about R&R but will do so when I pick mine up on either Fri or Mon.
What they did recommend was to give the glue at least 24hrs before handling it otherwise you may create 'dimples' by compressing the 3mm foam and putting the material in direct contact with the glue. Hence why I'm not picking mine up until Fri or Mon. So if they do the complete job, they may require your car for a few days.
