I just got my screen taken out and put back in on the hunt for rust, and it leaks more than it did before . I now have less rust though :).
where is it leaking?
it spent 3 hours in the rain parked with a slight lean to port yesterday,
I got in and drove away.
upon braking it ran out of the drivers sunshield onto the steering wheel. ( it did this for several kays,,)
I then noticed the damp along the front passengers door roof lining. a quick look to the drivers side and all ok.
it was wet to the touch front lip of roof lining and at one stage it ran out of the sunroof switch block,,
funnily enough after a full nights rain last night I was expecting a flood inside the car this morning. But no, and NO inside leaks as I drove to work, still damp to the touch along the roof lining lip, though that could be from the day before--
There is a gap/hole both sides,,,
at the very front end of the roof gutter where it meets the windscreen rubber,,
Is this a design thing to allow water to run down the inside of the A pillar black cover??
Definately the windscreen seal Pedro.
The non genuine windscreens arent 100% the correct fit,if the sikaflex isnt applied well enough they leak.Mine was so bad it leaked wind noise into the cab.
If you have windscreen cover maybee you need to cop a decent stone damage!!!

I thought so too Andy,,
But Mrs Swift had it in at O'Briens for over an hour today,, and they are saying, yes theres a windscreen leak,, but its irrelevant compared to the amount of water coming in,,
and THEY seem to think (by the surround clips??) thats the screens original??
just couldnt be.
too many miles to have NOT ONE blemish,,
Is it the original Opticool glass ?
Mine doesn't leak ...
... except one time when I washed it ! ?? ... like yours, left hand side, drip from trim behind/above windscreen ... car was leaning 20deg drivers side down ... yet it's been out in torrential rain and never leaked ?? .... never leaked in the carwash either ??
Kev..
Welcome to the wet carpet brigade! (WCB)
How do you check the sunroof drains ... mine is an after market sunroof, however, I was about to get the windscreen seal checked by Prestige AutoGlass in Sydney (mobile service)

If its a non-genuine glass then its the curvature at the top and lack of sealant.
Seen this too many times...
Does anyone got a diagram of where these drain pipes are at the rear sunroof?
