Sounds good, but what did you use to replace the muffler? a replacement piece of pipe or a different muffler, can you show us a pic?
just a piece of pipe,,
would have been a cheap muffler for $40!!:p
Did I ever mention my old mate Mark (ex-JRA Perentie engineer then independent race engineer) was developing a V8 diesel based on the old 4.4 truck (Terrier ?) block ?
IIRC he was using 300Tdi piston's, (apparently the slotted straight in) two VW/Bosch VE fuel pumps and custom heads
It never happened. :(
Now that would've sounded alright for a diesel :D
