Thread title changed to allow it to come up in future searches - there is no apostrophe in the plural of amigo. :p

Read everything you can about it. Then before you spend any money --- do option 'B' . it will work - for about $7 if you do it yourself.
I had 3 amigoes for 100K klms (2000 TD5 auto)& tried new shuttle valve kit @ $172, but didn't fix it - just made it worse because you disturb the connection inside the modulator. Mine would reset the lights each time you start but generally come on every trip. Would also come on when parked in hot sun. So I did option B for about $7 , & it worked perfectly haven't seen the 3a's for the last 8 weeks & been giving it a work out. Also look at buying Nanocom which will reset the 3a's.

Front right abs sensor + abs module, fitted & a clean up of the other 3 sensors-$2200.
Got that done in Geelong a fortnight ago.
Hi, have you tried Ebay? There is a non genuine replacement for these on Ebay made by C&C Parts. $71 for rear sensor etc They also stock ones for range rover. I haven't tried them yet but it is a replica of the original and have OEM part numbers to match. Hope this helps :)
I got a sensor from a rolled Disco for free from a local LR guy. Replaced my faulty one and made the lines longer. 100% now. I found the faulty sensor by letting the Disco idle and tugging each one untill the 3 lights came on. Easy trouble shooting guide.
option B is in the 8th post in this link,,

here's my take on it,,

Up until about a month ago I regularly saw my three amigos, but they always hid for a while after startup before randomly reappearing. Probably an intermittent shuttle valve problem as all the sensors are fine according to the Nanocom.
I've figured out that they don't like Tasmania or boat rides or both:).
I drove from Sydney to Melbourne then about 2500km around Tassie, (wonderful place) then back to Sydney towing a camper-van. Somewhere on the way to the boat they went into hiding and haven't been seen in the last 6000Km !
What I did do in Tassie was give the TC a good workout on the Arthur - Pieman road and give the HDC a very good workout in the ice and snow coming down the "ladder" at Ben Lomond NP.
I've read before on here that good regular exercise of the ABS/TC/HDC may solve the three amigos problem, it appears to have worked for me.
Of course now I've said this they will come out of hiding?
Interesting comment about the workout of the ABS/TC/HDC
My TD5 is now just 10 years old and purchased new.
I tried out the HDC once when bought and only once since.
The abs and TC work when needed.
I wonder if the lack of use of the HDC could cause the malfunction of and appearance of the 3 amegios? ;)
yes - giving the abs & hill decent control exercise seems to keep the 3 amigoes at bay. This would give me about 3 - 4 weeks without them coming on. But in the end they came back.
