Thread: D2 Roof Rails

Thay are bolted through the roof.
I recall somebody here quoting a 50 kg rating (I think). Not sure if that's per rail or for the pair.
Have a search on this forum, its a fairly recent thread.

They are strong enough to carry light loads and are bolted to the roof. For normal roads they should be fine but if carrying loads on badly corrugated roads....I wonder - maybe someone else has had some first hand experience in such conditions.

I often carry a 30 something kg kyak on them and they have been just fine - even on rough roads.

If unsure, get some Rhino Racks - I also have a pair of those for my Supawing awning.
