I just made one of the "discrete" as they are called mounts to go behind the stock bumper. But they'd be no reason that the side plates couldn't be modified to fit higher/further fwd.
Have some pics to post tomorrow when I fit. Cost of material $32.50 plus $10- for bending.

This is my first forum post so bear with me,
I have a GU NISSAN PATROL 4.2 WAGON 1999, with a TJM T15 Winch Bar, will this type of winch cradle be ok for an AVENGER MAKO TDS 9.5 WINCH and will it fit my bar.
