That sounds very cool!
Have you looked at fitting front LC80/100 diff and matching Hilux type rear centres into the D2 housings and in the ARB airlockers you can swap the sides to Rover sides and run Ashcroft axles + CV's. Ashcroft CV's are made by the same mob that makes Longfields. Also means that you can replace broken bits with off the shelf bits and it doesn't interfere with your electronics.
Not many have done full axle conversions - all OS that I know of, and I don't know of any that are Toyota centre converted.
