Ignition Key Lock
The infamous ignition key barrel wafer issue.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a rover savvy locksmith in the eastern suburbs, Melbourne?

No, BUT if you get the lock off the vehicle and take it to a decent locksmith they will be able to fix it for you... failing that I am 4.5hrs to the west of you.... and have a very good locksmith who is very familiar with the Disco 2 lock!!!!.... Unfortunately!! So you could star track it to me and I will get him to do it... Think he charged about $30...
The hard part will be getting the lock off the steering column.... If you don't do it, IT WILL COST due to the labour a locksmith will charge... They are shear bolts that are used... so get a chisel or dremel in there and make them 'open' to a flat head screwdriver....
Hope this helps
