    water leak

I have water leaking into drivers side foot well. it seems to be dripping down behind the dash as it is collecting on floor mat and the carpet on the firewall is dry. The only thing I can think of is the windscreen might need resealing or is there somewhere else it could be leaking.

Can be either a blocked Aircon Drain or a Replacement windscreen gone wrong.

A/C drain is easy, crawl under the vehicle and look above the front prop shaft.

Up in the trans area is a small black nipple hanging out the metal.

Pull the end out (remove it) but beware it may rain on your head!

See this thread --> Summer coming, check you Aircon Drain plug -pics of location

You could also check that the wiper motor (located under the windscreen under the bonnet) is done up tight. Water will leak through the seal if it's not tight.

Have a good look at this post first:

I have the same issues as you have, but I have the original windscreen and my aircon pipes are all clean. I'll be looking at this fix very soon now the prolonged drier days are starting to come round again.

On initial inspection a while back, it does look like the above linked post "should" be the answer to my problem, as the rubbers/seals mentioned are either ill fitted, or not there altogether.

    Cheers,

I have this problem as well, pulled the floor matt up on Saturday and the drivers side carpet was soaked

Have to check this seal as a possible fix.

Had a look for this seal couldn't find it on the drivers side
