What if I was to just take acc. power from pin 2 and run it to pin 1 (in lieu of direct battery power)?
Don't see the need for a relay unless the load on the wire to pin 2 will be too great.
Any thoughts?

That's assuming power to pin 1 is required at all. I wonder if it is.......
Leak present in non-ace/sls models? I would say so. I have non-SLS model and the 1/3A drain has been driving me nuts until just now. Need to chase a bit more wiring to confirm 100%...

Just be aware when you measure the drain that the SLABS ECU stays under power 30 minutes after the ignition was turned off and ''wakes up" every time you open a door and the drain is normally higher untill it "goes to sleep"

Shows the current in (TDi has a solar panel to keep charge, almost lol) and the TD5 is close enough to run a battery charger when needed. Runs on blue tooth and the ap shows the state of battery not only for charge but also when starting up and charging for $30 odd, it can accurately measure the drain!

I have slabs and somehow I dont experience that drain???? Am going to start it up and record the next hour!
How do you know the drain as long as it shows voltage across the battery terminals ? you need to see mA for that
