Thanks.
Did your friend get it sorted ?
No, he didn't. I'll see what my favourite dealer can come up with.

Obviously you are now getting desperate considering a dealer. ;)
Just checked and it's the US of A.

Hey Andrew.
How do you envoke that screen display ?
Thanks very much, Andrew. I'll pass that on.
Kev
This is what I did.
No DVD in the player.
Press play.
Screen will display 'loading' then 'no disc'.
Pretty sure after all of this I pressed set-up (button to the right of power)
Should then display this menu screen.
Let me know if this doesn't work and I'll check it again.
This was a few beers ago.

Andrew
I have just bought a D2. The player was working. Kids were watching a DVD. Turned off the car. Restarted and now the DVD player says wrong region. The image in the earlier post does not help as the locale is USA.
I know this is an old post but any help would be good.
A follow up to my post. Ended up going to GO Technologies (owner of Eurovox brand) and had them make the player region free. Cost $99:(.
Perhaps slightly off topic but seeing a though portable hard drives as big as 2tb are popular right now; and a this is a log shot but is anyone aware of a DVD player that will replace the original but also feature a USB port for hard drives? That would be much more convinient for myself of that sort of item were out there somewhere.
