hi andrew,
I checked with several dyno businesses in melbourne and pricing varied dramatically. In my case I was only interested in doing a test run to get a printout of the results... ie. no adjustments involved.
Prices I received for this straight forward test, that takes less than half an hour, ranged from $60 to around $200.I'm sure some of these companies just pick figures out of the air.
I'm going back for a second test in the next week or so to the same workshop (who charged me $85) as he was in a convenient location for me and I will get exactly the same format in the printout making it easier to see what the difference in power/torque is following any of my changes.
