Gday Pedro Nah I did'nt break it, I only got the D2 a few weeks back and unfortunately it only came with one key which I was'nt happy about. I like to have 2 keys in case I lose or damage one I can still take it somewhere to get another.

    Hi everyone,

My first post. I am a D2 owner in the Kimberley WA. Thanks for all of the great info on this website, it's helped me out heaps already!

Question: My key blade has separated from the fob. Am I able to have a new key cut by a locksmith and just carry it on a keyring with the fob sitting next to it? Or does a new key have to be programmed?

    Thanks in advance.

The blade clips back in to the fob body.
Use a bit of super glue to help keep it in place.

Ooh. Sounds like an opportunity to switch to a flick key. Check eBay and look around the forum as I swapped mine and love it. You will need to get the new key cut by a laser cutter and then swap the chip over. The key was approx $20 but cutting was a bit more. See eBay link for similar item to what I purchased.
