    What are these for...

    I have a D2, V8, Year 2000.

Q 1 ; If you remove the plastic service cutouts on top of the headlights.... You gain access to the rear of the headlights..... At the rear clipped to the frame on both sides i have a plastic electrical socket... what are these for...

Q 2 ; If you were to lie underneath the front of the truck and look upwards.... I have located another pair of plastic electrical sockets ( one on either side of the car ).... One is tucked up just about where the washer bottle is... the one on the other side just about the same placement area...... what are these for....

discos 2 were prewired for spot lights, just add switch and you should be ok.
wires for switch are in the pannel beside the steering wheel

Q1 I dont know and cannot find ANY info on it, I assume your talking about the 2 grey connectors (1 each side) ? They are not for fogs, spots, or headlamp motors.

Q2 They are most likely the front fog light (NOT spotlight) connectors, white in colour.

    he he,

Yes I will take a photo, as I say my headlamps have the levelling function, and "assuming" we are talking about the same connectors the I have them spare as well.

Headlamp levelling connectors are only 2 pin, these "spare" connectors are 7 or maybe 9. Just had another look through to see if I could find them and there is no ref to them at all in Rave.

Will post a piccy later today (sat) (4 am here currently)

EDIT.. I have a "theory" but need to have another look at connectors later today before I commit to posting it.
