Going to keep the standard joints in the shocks to start with and see what happens and will get the RTE lower mounts for the front.

I have the8" in the front and they bottomed out with the primary seal now stuffed I need a spacer now as I don't want the extended bump stops either I had awesome tuck on the front end up the cape

How? Are you mixing topped and bottomed out? Stock mounts?

    Doesn't add up

I think he means the 10" short body which are 8". These will bottom out on the front if you don't raise shock tower or lower bumpstops

No they don't! Only 15" long collapsed (including mount).

OME is 14.68" (less than 9mm shorter)

    I hope your right.
So far everyone else has said that they bottom out without extending bump stops.

But I did some calculations and with the bottom mounting bracket they should be 389 closed if the bracket adds 32mm.

This is 12mm more than standard shock but the old bilstein 994's were 390mm closed length and they were designed for a D2 so 389mm should fine.

I want to know if anyone with 10's has actually sat down and cycled the suspension fully, with no springs in and the chassis on stands.

Or they're just saying they need spacers as that's what the last bloke said.

*Disclaimer* Knowing how the 12's fit, I'd hedge my bets that with the RTE mount, they'd need either a longer tower or extended bumps.

    What do you think?

    Agree on the 12" versions....
