    Suspension - Bilsteins 7100

Hi guys have been doing a far bit of research and found these Bilstein 7100 to be the best...

    found the following

    Part Number: AK7110SB05 - Bilstein 7100 Series Shocks: 10 inch Travel Reservoir - Reservoir Shock - Short Body (8 Inch) - 275/78

    Part Number: AK7110SB06 - Bilstein 7100 Series Shocks: 10 inch Travel Reservoir - Reservoir Shock - Short Body (8 Inch) - 360/80

both have the extended length of 617mm
    and Collapsed length of 357mm

has anyone purchased these shocks for the US?

also can anyone tell me that bolt to bolt measurment for the Front Shock Absorber Lower Bush mount

    cheers

thoes shocks are correct, and i will be getting them from e shocks. dont bother with the cross pin conversion for the front billies, just get a set of these.
Front Lower Shock Mount Set - Discovery Series II - Rovertym Engineering

if you want to run alot of weight in the rear, run the 400/100.

I got a set of Bilstiens from eShock last month for my 130 (normal ones, not the 7100's) and they were spot on. Good pricing and good delivery. I think it took about a week from ordering to arriving, and the shocks I wanted were not even in stock with eShock at the time.

Just to clarify the bilstein 7100 shock is purely a custom shock not suited to any make of car... I have found this shock chosen the rebound Nm i would like and compressed lenths that are needed etc...

Personally i think if you have ACE you would want the shock to be alittle (softer ride) quality... but i am not expert on that...

all ACE does is it stops the car from leaning into corners when on rough roads its doing the same as if you didnt have ACE...

thats my 2cents worth on ACE...

Call the guys in Sydney who distribute Bilstien. I think their trading name is Heaslip Suspension (from memory).

Tried to answer your email and it got rejected....

But you're on the right track

You also need the 1/2" to 12mm reducing bushes from Rovertym.
