    Re the economy when fitting larger tyres....... it seems that most people allow for the variation in the SPEEDO reading but forget that this also changes the reading on the ODOMETER.

    For instance, I have 33" muddies on mine which alters the speedo by about 10%, it also means that the odometer is out by the same so, when you're doing the economy calc's, don't forget to make the same allowance on the K's travelled ie: 100km reading is actually 110km. You'll find that the bigger tyres haven't made that much difference after all.
