Your radio code should be written on your Stealer Security Card, otherwise contact the Stealer and quote VIN they may have it on their PC

I have put a new battery in the disco, and now I require the radio code.
Can anyone help with this?

I rang MLR (Melb. L/Rover) and quoted my vin and they supplied it over the phone
Ask for the service department.
I also checked for any "call backs" while talking to them.
Was the code related to your VIN
I replaced a radio in a civic with one from the wreckers and the wrecker guy said the code was the last four digits of the VIN
when I installed it he was right.
Is it the same for LR?
If you stuff up putting in the code there is a delay before you can try again, after 3-4 stuff-ups it about 2 days. Don't ask how I know.....
Had the same trouble some time ago.... However your vin/radio code may not be listed by vin.... You will/may need to get the radio number info off the back of the head unit for them to give you the code.. LR pulled the headunit for free... You may be lucky... Depends how often they see you! James
I am travelling with the family and ran into a bit of electrical trouble. Like a good boy I disconnected the battery fixed the problem and travelled on. I followed the advice of never storing your radio code in the car and it is safely sitting in the drawer at home. No tunes, no news and sanity rapidly fading. Does anyone know how to access a radio code on weekends. I have the radio serial no. and vin but I doubt I will find a dealer to help me until Monday.
I recently disconnected the battery on my 2000 ES reconnected the battery cable next day and radio worked perfect no codes to enter.
It has the higher spec radio
