    IMO these are too heavy...

Get a Windcheater or similar.. OL and Dolium are sources...

    $1395.00 without the accessories...

You can add much more then! And roof is rated, so the rack weight removes carrying capacity.

    Hello Greg,

Why would you want a roof rack that can weigh 50-60kg and then load it up with maybe up to 200kg. Yes you can carry a lot of weight on the roof but the centre of gravity is raised higher and higher with the more weight that goes on the roof thus making rollover easier with each kg added.
A trailer is a much better option and you can carry more weight in them, but then opinions are cheap.

    Cheers,

    Jason

I have so much gear that I need the roof rack as well. I also tow a popup camper[fiberglass] with full awnings and fossicking gear, freezer, fishing gear, spares etc and I love being comfortable when out bush. Luckily I have a 4 bay shed [its' also full]........

Yea got one of them as well, I think the local constabulary would frown on a road train behind the disco

i think you need to remove factory rails to fit these, at least thats what they told me when i rang a few months back.
plus at 50kg you only get to add another 50kg before being at the roof limit.
    cheers

Sure so I have had another look and they also have a aluminium rack 62.5in x46in designed for a toyota l/cruiser, asked if the legs would fit the disco, only $320 or so, I have a set of rhino racks so, if needs be, I willfit on top of these if neccessary!!!!!!!
