Yes. If you hold the either side of the double cardan and twist in opposite directions you'll see obvious movement in the uni's if they are on the way out. If you can't detect movement you should be fine.Quote:

I might replace the UJ with the Hardies version I did that in my last td5 when I had the shaft out to do the diff 80,000 Km later it's still going strong. Any tips on where to get a new ball bit in the middle? I didn't change that last time.
