I'm not sure that I'd fit a detroit to a touring vehicle, just because some of them are clunky and do funky things to the handling. Hopefully on a marbly or greasy/muddy track you will just get some wheel spin normally, but a detroit may make it slide, push and/or spin out. Also, if you ever break an axle the Detroit lockers are prone to shattering also.
The Detoit Trutrack apparently works really well with the Disco2 ETC and although not as positive as a locker is supposed to be a great combination. The ETC engages torque biasing diffs to make them even better.
I have Ashcroft and ARB bits of driveline in my D2, but just consider how often a Rover ARB locker breaks.... which is never, and the ARB dealers are literally everywhere in Aus. The Ashcroft isn't yet proven.
