How to find out my EKA (Emergency Key Access) Code

    Hey AULROlians! :-)

Is there a way I can find out my EKA (Emergency Key Access) Code?

I bought our Disco 2 second hand, and it came with all the manuals and service history and the security card, BUT the security card only had the radio code written on it. the EKA was blank.

It's a 2002 D2 I believe may have been purchased at Alto in NSW. Do dealers have this stuff on file? Can I retrieve it / reset it in any way?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

    Cheers

    Wil

Just call Land Rover with your vehicle VIN, they gave me the code on the spot over the phone.

OMG! It really was that easy! Thanks so much! I figured it would be some colossal drama! LR put me through to local dealer (Austral) and the lady on the phone looked up my VIN and presto! Yay!

Better go check it works now!

Yep, I wondered afterwards where the security really is.

Look at a rego sticker, get the VIN and call up for the code to disarm the security system and immobiliser.

LR initially told me I'd need to prove it was my car etc etc, but Austral were fine to dish it out just with the VIN. I guess if you have the KEY you've got the car anyway in most cases. Legitimately or otherwise. hehe
