I run Cooper ATR's on a work vehicle (twin cab hilux heavily loaded) and think they are the best AT tyre for use on highway and dirt, but not for extreme off road, these would be a great touring tyre. The BFG KM2's are a fantastic tyre although I have never tried them, they would be far better than the earlier BFG MT's. Be realistic about the terrain you drive and choose a tyre based on that, if you only use your car on weekends and for fun then go MT's of your choice, if daily driver you might be better with an AT. Maxxis Bighorns are a great cheaper mud tyre which I will probably run for my next set of tyres. In the end everyone has their own opinions on tyres, I myself prefer my Coopers to most BFG's with exception of the KM2's, I have never had or seen any major issues with coopers and that is my first hand experience, other people will state "they have heard" or "my mate". Listen to first hand experience and decide from there but asking about tyres opens up a can of worms.
Cheers Matt
