which tyres Coopers St's or BFG's

I am on my 2nd set of BFG A/T's,& never had a problem,not even a flat tyre.Did two long Cape trips,desert trips,etc.

First set did 80k.They were also 245/70,but didn't notice any difference going back to 235/70 as there were no 245's in the country at the time.The speedo is spot on with 235's,but reads approx 3 to 4% out on 245's.

Thank you to everyone who posted a response to my question. Seems opinions are varied between the two and think that has to be a good thing.

I have decided on the ST's ($300 price difference helped swaythe decision) and booked in for tomorrow ready for easter, big issue is there are none in Victoria and now have to wait for around a week to get them fitted.

Good decision

watch your tyre pressures and air down when the going gets rough and you be fine.

I am with my coopers and am pretty confident you will too.:)
