Rear Air con Lines for D2

Anyone got any suggestions on where I could find or get made air con lines to couple to the air con unit from a Disco 2?

I have the unit and want to fit it to a project Stage One cab on a Rangie Chassis. The rear unit from a Disco fits behind the seat rather well.

So I have a unit form a D2 but was not able to get the air con lines hence I don't had the fitting that merges the two lines to/from the condenser/compressor into one round fitting to bolt to the unit.

I will upload a pic after posting this to show what I mean. So I either need a set of original air con lines from under a car or direction on where to get some coupling made.

    All suggestions welcome.

First pic is of the unit and you can see the coupling at the bottom.

Second pic is a close up of the coupling.

    Thanks

You could try and get the fittings from a wrecker then any good air con shop could make them work. If the fitting is a standard type they may even have off the shelf items to make up from. I had my local air con guuy make up new lines for the compressor in my 80 series cruiser. It had a latr engine and compressor unit but previous owner bodgied up the mounts. So I got some old lines from the later model and the good air con guy in town has the proper sweat welding equip to do the lines like OEM. He simply used the later model compressor fittings and the older model condensor and firewall fittings and welded the pads to right pipes with new crimp sections then crimped new hoses on. Now all new, fits perfectly and looks totally original. The key is the welding process as the pipes don't lend themselves to be TIG welded which I could have done myself.

    Thanks Fester

I did have a D1 unit that had more standard fittings BUT its drain pan is on the wrong place fro where I want to fit it so have to use the D2 unit I had but as per pics they are not straight bolt on pipe fittings.

I had got the D2 unit form the wreckers but they did not have the pipes as sold to another guy.

Might have to take to an air con place and see if they can make something I guess if cant get pipes from a wreck locally (Gold Coast/Bris).

I see now by your pic it's a little harder however seeing as your instal is totally custom if you get desperate they should be able to cut that fitting off and weld generic ones on. The standard style ones are generally know a pad fittings and if you notice in the engine bay (at least mine( some are singular fittings so there is no reason yours could not be cut and shut to be 2 seperate pads as long as you get both sides made up to match.

I'm not sure how cost effective this all is as my air con guy has still not sent me a bill from a month ago when he did mine and regassed but when I asked him about it prior he said it was not a big or hard job so the expectation was under hundred not hundreds.
