The fold down screen is for the DVD player. The CD stacker is completely unrelated.

Have you checked that there's a magazine in the CD stacker? It's under one of the front seats too.

Ok, so where do I put a DVD to play it? The head unit is only a tape deck... Is there another unit to play DVDs somewhere in the car I haven't found yet?

Under the rear seat !! ?? .... 2nd or 3rd row seats have no room under them for a DVD player ??

DVD player in my D2a is under the drivers seat, facing rearwards, accessed via the back rhs passengers door.

Where's the DVD Player....in the car somewhere.

    Camrat

I have the factory Eurovox DVD player and the player is under the front passenger seat with access from the back passenger door. I also thought if you have a CD stacker as well it would be under the drivers seat.

    Regards

Haha, this thread is de-ja-vu for me. I bought the same vehicle and all of these problems popped up once I got home from the car yard.

Replaced the Eurovox DVD player with a single DIN ebay special but located under rear ashtray on centre console.

Replaced the stacker and headunit with something a little more up to date with better sound.

Replaced the rear airspring with one from the states.

    Great car, love it!!

    Banarcus,

Your picture looks like my car... I have solved one of my issues, the DVD player I found under drivers seat, but from back door, it's the cd stacker I can't operate, I think it's busted and will look at replacing soon.. The DVD still works fine.

Again, thanks everyone for your thoughts... I love my landrover, when it was up on the hoist the other day I noticed a very small oil leak from somewhere!! Maybe the oil filter but could not tell, I have it booked in at ricks in Nerang this week so will hopefully get that fixed...

    Cheers
