Hi winaje, it could be worth while to see the shuttle valve switch pack at Rover Parts Plus.
Land Rover parts - SHUTTLE VALVE SWITCH PACK
LRT
Hi all, part way through option B, having spent several hours reading the many posts on here. I tested the continuity on the SVS pack and get nothing. Probed the wires from each switch, one is fine, the other is open circuit and when I turn it upside down and pump the plunger it has oozed brake fluid. I have been pumping the plunger on and off for an hour or so.
Is there any chance of the switch coming good if I can get the fluid out of it? Or am I looking at one of these: ABS shuttle valve kit
Thanks
Regards, Will

Not sure if I read your post correctly but there should not be any oozing of brake fluid from the SVS (SVS as shown in the image of your hyperlink).
This unit is meant to be dry. Has one of the boots split on the actuators?. If it has I would be getting a new one as per your hyperlink.

Andrew
Thanks LRT, I've looked at that and a couple of the other new switch assemblies. My main question is if the switch I have at the moment is likely to start working again if I can drain it of the brake fluid. I'm broke at the moment, so hope to not have to replace the switch assembly.
Thanks Andrew, I've left the switch upside down with the boot removed, if it doesn't come good in a couple of hours I'll reassemble the system so I can drive it again, then order one of the SVS kits.

If you've got fluid in the switches, sounds like you have other problems too, that will need sorting out at the same time.
Have a look at the LR Virgin Islands site link here. http://www.landroverclubvi.com/abs-mod.html
You can get the SVS seal kits here
http://www.jewellamberoil.com/sales/...roducts_id=247
Generally the best method to clean out the brake fluid is with metho or contact cleaner then put the kit thru it.
Cheers

Thanks all. Vehicle back together, will grab a SVS kit from DLS on eBay in a couple of weeks and glue the boots down as someone else here suggested.
