O.K, found another I am interested in

2004, classic town, 7 seater, 145k's, leather interior, very clean, bog standard, $21500

Only problems I am aware of are only 1 key, scrape on front bumper bar, will check it out on the weekend after I have called the service centre that has been servicing it.

    What do you think?

I bought a 2004 classic country 7 seater 120k's, cloth interior, rear a/c + inroof dvd, clean, std execpt for a dual battery system + 255/70*16 tyres ... paid $22500.

2 yrs ago. wholesale, no rego.

The 2004 classic's are the ones to get imho ! Most of the issues are sorted.

Sounds like a good one. Keep us informed.

TRS in lonsdale have one on their website a 2003 with 150,000km with bar etc for $23,500, so could be worth a look so you can compare what you get for abit extra $$$$

    Happy searching,

    Cheers Ean

Might pop down and have a look, they are only 10 minutes down the road

Although I must admit I do like the idea of the leather seats in the one I am looking at.

Service history is very important with one of these,as said the D2a is by far the best of the D2's.I also had a'99 & a01,all bought new.All the Town 'classic's' had leather & also 18" rims.

Mines just clocked over 90k,but it's staying here

    O.K here we go again!

    2003 D2a, sls, ace, service history, 5 seater, TD5, auto, 200K.
    Drives and looks nice

Electric fan runs all the time - problem?
    few dings and scratches.
    Needs wheel alignment
Smells like a coolant leak in the engine bay, but does not use any - problem?

    $16000

    Opinions please

If it's any help.... I bought my October 04 td5 classic 6months ago for $15000. It was a one owner, (accountant) vehicle and he was getting a Disco 4. I've put new tyres, lift, shockers, bull bar, roof rack, CB, dual battery system, etc etc on it and it owes me about $20000 all up.

It has a few scrapes and marks on it, but nothing serious for a 7yr old car with 170km on the clock.

I am really happy with it, goes like a dream! Happy hunting!
