Thread: What size Engel will fit in the back of the D2?

My 35l Waeco fits end on with room to spare. But if your not using all of the rear seats, one side can be removed and the Engel could go there.
This can be better, because you can now fully load up the rear to the roof. Assuming you have a cargo barrier.

I found some old photos. This was our set-up in our D2 when travelling, 2 adults most times and occasionally a third adult:


The fridge was in place of the rear double seat. This is a Trailblazer, dimensions 86 cm long, 47 cm wide and 55 cm high.





The rest of our equipment was stowed in the rear in a simple makeshift arrangement.













If your fridge in the rear is too big, you will have difficulty in packing the rest of your equipment,


We never travel with a roof rack, just tow a boat, all our camping gear fits into the car.
