		Steve,

The lines going into the fuel pump are removed by squezing the clip together and sliding straight out. They are probably slippery so i just lightly used multi grips to help slide out. Make note of the order of the colors of the lines to be sure they go in the correct order.

Just like to say thanks to Matt for the excellent pictorial on how to replace that naughty green fuel line. Mine started squirting on Wednesday, by night time I had found the problem and ordered the part which turned up today (Friday) and we're rolling again with everything back in place. Great forum. Thanks to all who posted on this subject.

While most of these fuel line problems happened a few years ago now, its interesting that one or two still happen,,
lack of miles?
a good repair finally tired?
will we see a whole new rash of these as the replacements fail?

I don't think this job has been done before on this vehicle - the hoseclips on the tank filler tube were original, I think. Have had the car for 10,000km and this was our first breakdown ( still got me home but) How do I get email notifications of threads I contribute to? Thanks,
Pete
