Thread: Cv boot, I know some parts are $$$ but?

Ok I need a new front cv boot(gaiter) it has a tear in it, so I walk into a parts specialist thinking that it probably cost about $20, so being a landy thought I'd have to pay $50, but on asking across counter at this store was told $80 yes $80 come on that's ridiculous.
Was also told that a genuine one was over $100.

So any ideas maybe a universal one or im Spending my money overseas.
