Don't know if this will help, but when mine jammed, I got a small flat screwdriver, pushed it in the top of the tray, and moved it back @ forwards, the tray has a metal thingy that holds it in position, just push it down. Bob

I've had this a few times because of too much parking change being in it.

I have just hit it repeatedly pushing in gently/roughly and eventually it has released.

Lesson don't put 50c in as they stand up and block unit opening

It maybe that the plastic housing that the spring opener operates against has broken - happened to both my coin tray and ash tray.

Once you have removed both of the trays, there are four screws (two behind each of the trays) securing the tray and cup holder housing. Remove this housing and you'll see how the whols system operates.

I repaired my broken housing by bending to shape a small piece of gal plate and with judiciously positioned pop rivits secured it to the plastic housing.

Anyway - your first task is to get the tray open and discover the cause of the jamb. You could also try a small screwdriver/lever at the back of te tray, from underneath.

There are six screws, three on each side, also the screws are not a good fit with the phillips screw driver.

Also today I found out that I can remove the inside of the coin drawer, the furry bit un-clips. It increases the size a great deal. Never have put coins in mine, I have children

I removed both liners. Don't smoke. But Ive discovered the 5 cent coins eat the other coins and multiple, as that's all that's in there. Apart for a couple of tube fuses. And where did they come from ? the Disco doesn't even use them.
