Vacuum pump oil feed hose pricing.

Whilst researching on here I've read that it's a good idea to replace the oil feed line to the vac pump while I've got the alternator off of my Disco as it could be the reason that the alternator has expired. Can anyone give me an idea of what these lines are worth so I can tell if my local parts bloke is having a lend of me ?.

    Thanks,
    Anthony.

That oil feed hose to the vac pump will only have a bearing on alt failure if it is leaking all over it, otherwise not. Have seen them for sale up to $70.

    Hi
As per another thread covering simular, The oil leak stuffed my alternator and is still there after an expensive repair so I am replacing the feed line too, I have ordered one with all the stuff nessasary and the cost was about $70.00, I believe you can get a better price from overseas around $50.00 but you might have to wait a week or two.

Not looking forward to the replacement as it is said to be difficult with the alternator on the vehicle. Will let you know how hard once I get the bits!
