Looking at buying back into Discos with a 2004 V8 auto D2a facelift model. Not a lot of choice here in Perth, however there's a few that are in the low to mid 100kms reasonably priced ($15-17k) and a couple with only 80kms but are a lot more ($23-25k).

Just curious what roughly the major 150/160kms service with drive belt replacement is worth, as that will obviously be important in factoring in comparing cars.

Also, anything else i should be looking out for?

Yeah I knew the belt was less than $50. I kinda meant the whole service including the replacement of the belt (Inc labour etc)

isnt the belt due at 80?
I did the green one at 110 and it was stuffed,,

LR service manual says 160k service.

that might be the second time,,,

what about this one?

Yeah that's at top of my list. Also the most exxy one too. Yucky bullbar too!

I believe the service interval for all belts and fluids is meant to be done at the 120k service. That was when mine was done anyway.

just found a service maintenance booklet online.
V8's are 80k intervals
diesels are 160kms
