    Detroit Locker Part Number TT 187SL-173A

    Hi all, is this part number (TT 187SL-173A ) the correct one for the rear of a 2003 Disco. I had thought at some stage the Disco 2's had P38 diffs.

    I am starting to build up the Disco as a bit of a serious tourer and at just over $650 US delivered this is a cheap diff lock. I have had one in my Stage 1 109 V8 some 30 years ago and was very impressed with it.

    The D2 all had Rover type diffs, not P38a ones.

    Thanks Justin, while I am at it can you replace the hub bearings on the D2, I know its a sealed unit but sometimes you can dismantle these sorts of things.
    The D2 has done 290,000kms without a problem but if I am going to get the locker installed doing some preventative maintenance at the same time may be worthwhile.
