    removing plastic door trim holding carpet

    Hi,

    I have a problem with wet carpets at the moment, and am trying to work out where it is coming from. I think the matrix may be shot as it plays games when you try to operate the heater/ac and the floors are soaked. Ive already had the core done plus the metal lines through the dash as they were paper thin. Now it looks like its the matrix or possibly and air lock. I still would like to know how you get the plastic rims of the the door sills to get the carpets up though.

    The centre strip pops out, and there are screw under that.

    If the heater core or lines are leaking you will be noticing the coolant level droping.
    From what I've read an air lock will "gurgle" from behind the dash.

    Check the 2 drain pipes from the heater box, common for them to block up.
