Td5 - Another ecu fitted - now faults

    Hello
    I have a 1999 auto td5 with a MSB101260 ECU . I sourced a later model NNN000130 ecu that the parts list shows as a replacement . This is second hand .
I installed it , updated the injector codes ( think I got this wrong but not a major at this stage ) set the throttle to a 2 wire and told it to learn the security code . Straight away I had 3 faults , 4.3 & 6.3 coolant temp error and 24.7 Auto gearbox fault .

The car seems to drive normally and the temp indicates normal . I did not have these faults with the old computer . Have I not programed something or is it likely a fault with the ecu ?

    Thanks

    Chris

Have you cleared the faults to see if they come back?? They maybe faults already listed in the ECU before you got it?

Cleared the faults but they are active again straight away . There was several ( 8 - 10 ) faults when the ecu was first checked that cleared straight away .

    Thanks

Use your nanocom and load a different mapping/variant code.

Look at my web site for a
    List of suitable codes.
