chuck in a cup full of ATF about 500K before a service then drive it like its stolen till the service.
Of course thats usually only a temp fix, as the donk cakes up again it'll come back.
G'day guys, was wondering if anyone had remedied a "lazy lifter"? Seems more toward the front of the motor/ drivers side. Can I remove the rocker cover without removing the valley cover? How have others approached similar issues?
Cheers

If you think you're in front on the deal, pay it forwards.
Is your oil changed regularly and the right viscocity, Hydraulic lifters sticking can be caused by being gummed up, recently had my V8 disco serviced at Melbourne landRover and the used castrol magnatec 0W/40 motor is very quiet but has found a new leak lol
I change the oil out at every 5 K, I'll try the ATF thing at next service but I'd really like a more permanent fix.
Cheers guys
