Yep I have the reader that hard range has. Very good. High pressure water cleaning of rings and sensors and calipers can be a good start to avoiding problems. Cheers

This is an idea/ thought that has been propagated in a few threads and is offered as a solution that is incorrect.

The reluctor ring is sealed inside the hub, it is not replaceable or seviceable.

The sensor is sealed by an o-ring into the hub housing. The o-ring can be changed.

If any thing, water, grease, debris, can get past the hub seals or sensor o-ring, the hub is ultimately compromised and will fail in a variable time frame.

If any water is able to get into the sensor or reluctor, then your sensor is stuffed or hub is stuffed and must be replaced and certainly will assist in creating a fault rather than preventing, as well as guaranteed future bearing failure.

Pressure washing around hubs can only remove dust and junk whcih may cause some squeals, which sometimes triggers the Amigoes ( many have brake squeals and no Amigoes).
This type of fault will reset with the ignition.

    Cheers

Fair call. Its a good way to stop pad squeal which in my case sets off the 3 amigos at times and I just re-set it and read the codes.
