I have also experienced this. About twice. Completed Option B some time ago. Also inclined to believe brake squeal is the cause but not sure.

G'day Franz.
Yep ... thems my Amigos. Never a SLABS fault when checked with the Nanocom ... clears with a stop/start ....
Always accompianied by brake squeal.
Used to read as a wheel speed sensor fault in earlier days ... but the faulty sensor progressivley moved from one wheel to another, then another, then another .... and now is almost aways no fault logged ...
Nusciance value.
whats your address?
I'll send you some redheads--

Not quite that desperate yet ... :)
All Done!:D
Huge thanks to Alpick who was staying nearby whilst down from Sydney. First established the intermittent fault then did Option B... took the modulator out to do it. I've triggered ABS and HDC and all is good.Only problem I have now is a flickering Handbrake light??? might be wet as I sloshed some soapy water around to wash off the spilt brake fluid. Hopefully it'll be ok tomorrow.
Thanks to all who offered to assist.
I had the Flickering brake light, Drove me nuts then checked the brake fluid topped it up and its gone away, not sure if that helps :)
Great news!
Glad you got it fixed. It's a good feeling, isn't it?
Hey Wardy1
Glad I could help out, pity there wasn't time for a coldy at the end of the day ( you did top up the brake fluid didn't you Al).
Cheers
Al
