    What is this rack? Tray?

On the weekend I became more of a mechanic and changed the back springs from Kings to Dobinsons..more to come on that one...but I noticed this shelf thingy under the chassis. It looks to me like it would hold a battery but it is a little short to fit a battery. Its obviously a shelf/rack thingy for something, so can someone tell me what it's for?

    Thanks!

I've thought about doing this, any feedback on the fit? I'm assuming if the compressor can survive off road the battery could [albeit with a protective case of some kind] ummmm, haven't looked in the good oil, yet.

One of my customers here at work has a V8 D2a with coils and he mounted an Optima D34 on its side on that tray ... haven't looked at it, but it been there for about a year, and he has a solar panel permanantley on the roof to charge it.

    He says it works fine.

Pedro, I gather its a separate tank, how do you have it plumbed in ? that quite a useful amount of fuel.
