    Winch bars

    Hi all
I was hoping that I could get some guys with front winch bars to post some pics of them while on their cars. I am currently looking at the xrox bar & also a single tube bumper style from rovercraft. But all bars are being considered at moment so any help is appreciated.

    Something I've been working on.

The winch is in it's own custom cradle that originally was designed to fit behind the original plastic bar. I kept the metal backing of the bar and using the original cans and mounts made up a xroxish bar over the last few days.

Thats pretty much it apart from some fill in panels (steel checker plate of course) in the wing sections perhaps with some small fog lights. The section that protrudes fwd above the tow points will have a plate in it to mount some larger lights.

This although only completed today is already being redesigned to take a high mount warn I picked up for "The Right Price" today. trying to work out if I can fit it behind a standard plastic bumper for ****s and giggles.

I got my XROX bar last friday, I would post up the final pics but the chasis mounts I got were wrong. I am now just waiting for the postman to deliver replacement mounts, very happy with outback accessories service, they organised replacement mounts to be posted the day I phoned the opposite lock store that I bought it from. Here is the only pics I have.
    Cheers Matt

Good to know I shouldn't have to wait much longer, did you get the lights also?

Does that centre part hang much lower than the std bash bar? Looks quite low.

Don't stress too much about the photo I posted, the bar is basically only just sitting there to highlight how the mounts were wrong, I will hopefully post some photos by the weekend and we will see how it should sit. I no longer have the standard bash/wombat bar as mine was bent so I removed it when I removed my bumper a while back, I was looking at buying a steering protector or making one but haven't got around to it yet. I did receive my Lightforce 240 blitz, they are still sitting in the box, just waiting for replacement mounts, but I reckon the XROX bar could be fitted easily within an hour and a half or less, very easy install, although instructions lacked pictures.
