    td5 head torque settings

    hey all, just about to reinstall head due to plastic dowel failure(suprise suprise) and just wondering were to find workshop manual or such to download for torque settings on head stud bolts etc etc..

    Stage1 - 30 Nm (23 lbf.ft)
    Stage 2 - 65 Nm (48 lbf.ft)
    Stage 3 - 90 degrees
    Stage 4 - Further 180 degrees
    Stage 5 - Further 45 degrees

    cheers Psimpson, mates actually installing head and i was under impression theres a few more specs required for other parts involved in process (ie cam) ????

    Yeah there are, but i cant find my manual at the moment (lost it in the last week somehow). Mine is hard copy though not a pdf.

    I did some threads a while ago on how to do a head swap which are on here somewhere which may help a bit.

    the details are in the RAVE CD, hit up the daves interesting things shop and purchase the cd from there, as a bonus you're supporting the site
