    D2 - topping up unknown fluids

    Hey guys,

    Can anyone tell me if I'm safely able to top up my D2's PAS and brake fluids without knowing what the existing fluids are?

    If there's no risk with blending brands/types I'll just get some suitable stuff and tip it in top up.

    Need to know if you have ACE. If you do then you need the correct stuff and I would simply top up with the Penrite stuff. see here

    If you do not have ACE, just top up with what the book says as there is little worry about mixing basic PAS.

    Thanks for that. No I don't have ACE that makes it easy I guess. :-)

    The brake fluid specs seem fairly "open" so I'm guessing any DOT4 fluid will be ok.
