I fished a dead mouse out of a Triton heater fan a couple of months ago... check your air intake is well meshed over.
Purchase a "Rave" manual from the "shop" link above and have a look at the a/c layout.
We have this strange smell when we start the engine for about 5 to 10'. It's a 2003 D2a and is otherwise in top co.diction.
I checked the forum bit couldn't really find anything in particular. Are there any maintenance parts which require changing like filters and the like? There may also be something we picked up along the way although we cant find anything.
Any hints would he much appreciated.
Cheers

Hi backball. Check the A/C drain as they can block up and the water that condenses in the system is unable to drain out, goes stagnant and smells after a while ..... drain is usually through the floor around the transmission area. Parking under fruit trees etc wont help as rotting leaves/vegetation and general muck in the intake can also produce strange smells in warmer climates.
Check the A/C Drain and also the passenger side carpet, under any mats, water can leak in there and sit under the carpet. It happened on my D1, my bro inlaws D1 and my D2, water enters via the plenum, the rubber gasket shrinks and the seal is not there then. A run of sikaflex stops it.
It realy stinks of stagnant water when it's been there a while
