D2 TC Brakes not activating on wheel spin.

Mate don't expect to see the spining wheel to actually stop when TC comes in,it brakes the spinining wheel so torque is transfered(through the "open diff") to the other wheel.
Put someone to observe from the outside,if while the left front wheel is spining (for example) and the right one takes some torque(spins but slower) then the TC is working(and the brakes will be quite hot afterwards!) but can't do miracles on very slippery stuff,if it was "wheels on air" kind of action,you might see the TC stoping the spining wheel for fractions of seconds.

Thanks for that. I have done all that. When I first got my D2 it was great went almost any were. Some times I thought it could swim. Now I don't like taking it of road. Get stuck all the time. Since I had the 3 amigos and the sensors replaced been ****.

You really need to get the fault codes on your SLABS ECU read. There is possibly an issue with either the sensor install or a faulty SLABS ECU.

just a thought, is your brake lights working properly? meaning the switch at the break pedal...

The brake light switch shouldn't have any influence on the ABS system, although it's probably a good safety check.

The ABS system uses the shuttle valve switch to signal the ECU that the brakes have been applied by the driver. In the case of Leigh's problem with ETC this won't the source of the problem. The ETC function relies on the system detecting a wheel accelerating faster than average and this means the ABS sensors are the key input.

To test you'd need access to a diagnostic system. Either Nanocom or Hawkeye will do the job if you have one. There is a tech note describing how to troubleshoot wheel sensor faults:



Basically

1) check and replace wheel sensors where necessary,
if that doesn't work
2) replace SLABS ECU with PN# SRD500070
