Thanks bee utey for your help. I still have a lot learn about electronic fuel injection and engine management systems, and often wish it had SU or stromberg CD carburettors.

Hi Nobbyclrk, the tests on the coils was a no-start condition.
I will test the injectors during a no-start condition, but will not be able to do so for a few days as I will be away.
When testing the coils there is no voltage pulse shown with the LED's, only the live data which is displayed on the LCD.

Hi nobbyclrk,
The injectors pulse slowly when cranking with the starter motor.
I re-tested the coils, but the LED pulse indicators didn’t illuminate when cranking.
After I completed these tests, the engine started.
I tested the injectors with the engine running, and the injectors pulsed rapidly.
I tested the coils, and they also pulsed rapidly.
Does this mean that the ECU may be at fault?
I also tested the BCU serial link that connects the BCU and ECM together with the oscilloscope.
The LED's pulse regardless whether the ignition is off or on.
This does mean that there is not a communication fault between the two ECU’s.
