    Question Throttle Body de-icer coolant leak

    D2a v8
    I had a coolant leak from the throttle boy de - icer so i by passed it for a quick fix.
    Can anyone tell me if i can leave it bypassed or will it cause mixture problems ?

    Bypass it, no problem. Definitely was no issue for me, did it over 6 months ago. One less silly little item to annoy you too!

    Check the plastic hose that runs across the top of the engine from the driver side - have a suitable rubber hose and fittings ready and give it the flick at the same time - if it hasnt already been replaced?
    Mine was brittle as buggerey and could have caused issues down the line.
    Nearly broke when my mechanic THOUGHT about touching it!

    Michaelp, it can be bypassed without any problems.
