    Fault codes won't go out

Hi my series 2 discovery has 4 fault code lights which won't go out, does this mean my modulator is toast. Lights showing are handbrake, TC, ABS, HDC

Vehicle has done 178K, professionally serviced. Air suspension bags recently replaced. Also had a leak into ceiling cloth which originates from the rear sunroof, the leak has made the drivers cockpit carpet damp - could this be affecting electrical connections causing the fault code to stay on

Is there any way of resetting the system or is it time to part with more money?

    AliMac.
You have found the 'three amigos'.
Do a search of aulro, there is also good info in the "Good Oil" courtesy of Pedro the Swift.

A nanocom will tell you which fault you have, and reset the fault. Mine was an ABS sensor, which I finally replaced after many resets that only lasted a few days to a week.

Sometimes you can reset by switching engine off, opening drivers door, then closing door and restarting engine.

if you going to buy that , put a couple 100 extra and get a diagnostic that has more function like a hawkeye, it will give you a lot more for your money.

Ditto, ABS AMIGO,,Good bit of kit to have, fits in your pocket. I haven't bothered spending more money, on other diagnostics tools, because the only faults I've ever had in in 6 years on our two D2's were related to ABS,,being wheel hub failure and abs shuttle valve solder failure (option ,,Fingers crossed.

I'm not sure how it could save you an ABS,, all it does is reset the lights.

Option B will fix the vast majority of Amigo problems,,

wheel sensors can be troubleshot without need of electronics,,,,,

Ah,, sorry, but you may want to read the website already supplied to you. It ain't all just flashy coloured lights. It actually reads the fault then logs the fault then clears the fault (stores 3 then moves to the next), . Plug it into your computer to see what the fault is. So in my case "Shuttle valve switch electrical failure" on our 03 D2 and "Wheel sensor bad output" on our 99 D2. I was able to cheaply fix with Option B 03 and a 2nd hand wheel hub 99. So yeah I'd say it saved me money from the start.

Ah,, sorry again , but Option B fixes a COMMON problem, not the vast majority of problems,,,, being a broken solder on a pin in the ABS module that the shuttle valve switch connects to. It bypasses the faulty circuit for good. It wont fix a faulty wheel sensor, wheel sensor cable, ABS ECU, Wheel hub or anything else not involved with the broken solder.

your version of common must differ from mine,,

why do you need a multimeter?
the speedo tells you if its working.
